Mimi & Lola was inspired by the creativity of children, we own a daycare center and have been making blankets for years for our center and for family and friends. One day during naptime the kids wanted me to tie their blanket around their neck to mimick a cape, so I started tying knots around all the kids and they kept coming undone, aside from that they had a bulk of fabric under their neck. I thought there has to be a better way, so the cape blanket was created. My sister Monica and I started this business because we believe that our blankets are unique. We try to get different vintage and retro inspired fabrics and are handmade by us here in Las Vegas Nevada. We also offer wholesale prices. For every 5 blankets we sell we will donate 1 blanket and 2 burpers to local shelters here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
